Bynder, a leading Digital Asset Management platform (DAM), started collaborating with Quan, in 2021 to support the productive and healthy lives of their employees. Leadership at Bynder knew the pandemic had taken its toll, and people were still struggling to land on what the "new normal" at work should look like.
To combat this, they sought out new ways to create a healthy working atmosphere—whether working from home or in the office—and retain talent. Traditionally, the workplace has been a place where people have been asked to check their personal lives at the door, but as organizations consider thoughtful new approaches to where people will work, Bynder recognized the critical need to proactively provide solutions that protect the wellbeing of its people—and that means encouraging them to bring their whole selves to work.

Despite the wealth of science available on well-being, the term is often misunderstood and inspires negative feelings such as being overwhelmed. Quan exists to demystify well-being for both organizations and teams by breaking down the science, increasing self-awareness and guiding both teams and individuals through self-care steps designed to improve well-being in quantified ways.
Our approach is rooted in scientific literature, conversations with practitioners (e.g., doctors, therapists), and public involvement of those with first-hand experience such as employees, team leads, and organizations so that our research is designed and conducted with them rather than for them. We then conduct extensive testing, run sophisticated statistical modelling, and we are committed to peer-review and publications in high impact journals as well as academic and industry conferences.
